Maybank Malaysian Open 2009

Shah Alam, Thursday February 12, 2009 - Concorde Hotel Shah Alam, the award-winning international-class business and conventions hotel sponsors four professional golfers during the Maybank Malaysian Open Golf Tournament 2009 at the Saujana Golf and Country Club from February 12-15 in 2009.

The four golfers are Iain Steel (US), Angelo Que (The Philippines), Unho Park (Australia) and Lam Chih Bing (Singapore).

This prestigious event drew the likes of Vijay Singh, Retief Goosen and Nick Faldo in the past and this time, the glitter is further enhanced by the provision of the US$2Million price purse. With so much to play for, the sponsored golfers are pleased that Concorde Hotel Shah Alam is able to provide comfortable facilities and rooms that help in their preparations. A cocktail reception was prepared to welcome the players at the Premier Lounge and selected hotel guests invited to meet them.
